Do so, but first note one of the reoccurring themes of Breath of Fire II: searching the dressers for items. In Breath of Fire II, by searching dressers and medicine cabinets, there are items for you to obtain. So search the dresser in Ryu's room for a TreePole and then go down the stairs to meet with Ganer.
Great description. I followed this for over 112000 on iPad but it took 2 birds:-(.
(I’d had just under 108,000 on Android phone but so long ago I don’t remember how). Before trying your description, I’d tried a “shoot the moon” shot Shot straight up so that when it came down it was between the 2 tallest towers trying (at least) to take out the left most hollow block of the right tower. I’d managed an above average 2-birder this way, but so far the way & you posted has worked the best.still trying for the 120s.
I’ve taken a different approach and it seems to work well, with just 2 Birds.1) Launch first Yellow Bird at an almost horizontal line with a smidge of a rear downwards incline at plank sticking out of first tower, it’ll take out the bottom wood block and plank support as well as the small and medium cages.2) Launch second Yellow Bird at a medium arc so that it hits the vertical piece of wood behind the powder box, it will go through and knock out the left wooden block of the far tower bringing everything down with it. I got my score using manu’s strat, through the large birdcage & the cardboard box to the base of the right tower. Try aiming on the high side, I found that at the very least you have to crack the horizontal wood resting on top of the box, if it breaks even better. This slows the yellow bird down a bit & makes it harder for him to break last piece of wood on the right tower, but it can happen.
Everything falls much more easily when this happens. When I say “easily” I of course mean AB style easily, took a couple of hundred tries.Do you find yb less effective in Rio? I’d never really noticed. I actually had the exact same method as described for the first shot.
In the more than a year ago since I played this level, I had never gotten a one birder this way, it always took two. Yes I have an can vary the angle of attack of the YB using the color change of the lightbulb shadow in the background. Putting the flat bottom of the YB right on the line of light/dark gives the best down angle but the towers collapse more straight down. A flatter approach gets more of the leftward lean and fall. I haven’t had the luck of finding the sweet spot in between and probably am going to settle with my year old 112k as I haven’t even come close to repeating that today. And I feel that Rio messes with the physics of the birds but then again there has always been odd change of some variety in all versions of AB.
It is more pronounced since I was just replaying an AB level using the YB a lot. Anybody passing through years later, a few pointers on the video methodPull the first bird down so that the front of the sling saddle is up at the crack of the first board. Wait until that lamp is at the lowest point of it’s swing on the way forward and release. Otherwise you hit the lamp and don’t get your power up. Activate late, look for 50K+ on first bird to get into the 1-teens.
Second bird i lined up chuck’s pointy little butt right on the shadow and tossed him into the square block, not activating him, so he breaks just that block, stuff falls left, then falls right. Reliable over 110, switching to 1-birda to up my score, gotta get that addict rating. News. Angry Birds. Angry Birds 2. Epic. Transformers.
Bad Piggies. Angry Birds Go!. Rovio Stars. Stella.
